The I Go Meow cat also known as Cala in real life was an orange tabby. Cala was born in 2012. Cala gained popularity in 2024, she was originally in a video of her meowing like she is singing "I go meow" posted to TikTok on April 5, 2024, she collaborated with "The Kiffness" on April 12, 2024, a famous artist known for making songs out of cats meowing, and together they made the famous "I Go Meow" song. Cala sadly and suddenly passed away of old age on May 30, 2024, in her owners arms.
